Maya Pande, D.C.

Dr.Maya Pande

Dr. Maya is the owner of Pande Family Wellness Centre. She was born in Toronto and raised in London, Ontario, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario in 1994.

While attending UWO Dr. Maya started to get sharp pains whenever she took a deep breath. The pain started to affect her concentration and her focus at school. It was only after she went to a chiropractor that she found relief.

It was then that she realized the difference chiropractic can make in someone's life and she decided to become a chiropractor herself. She went to Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO and graduated in 1997.

After practicing in Wisconsin for a year, she decided to come home to the Greater Toronto Area and be closer to her friends and family. She saw patients in Mississauga at Clarkson Village Chiropractic for over 3 years.

In 2003, Dr. Maya opened Pande Family Chiropractic on Bayview Avenue in the Leaside neighbourhood of Toronto, where she helped people in the area for 5 years. In September 2008, she moved her practice to  the Yonge and Eglinton area and renamed it Pande Family Wellness Centre.  She looks forward to helping patients both current and new, live pain free!

After completing her studies at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Toronto, ON, Aviva wanted to take her classroom education into the field. She spent three months at the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center in Connecticut with the Adamah program, an opportunity that allowed her to integrate organic farming and sustainable living with her background in nutrition.

While working the land, Aviva gained an appreciation for the intimate connection between the daily food choices we make and the impact it has on our bodies and the environment. She went on to study at New York City's Natural Gourmet Cookery School; a chef training program which focuses on health-supportive, vegetarian cuisine with an emphasis on traditional and unrefined ingredients.

Teaching people to make healthy choices is very important to Aviva. Dana Zangari RhA, RHN

Dana is a Registered Holistic Allergist and Nutritionist. She graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours in English and History in 1992. After several years in the corporate world, she decided to turn her passion for cooking into a business and opened My Fare Ladies, which she ran for several years.

To combine her interest in health and cooking she decided to return to school and obtain her degree in Holistic Nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Toronto, ON. While attending, she became interested in the topic of allergies and how they relate to disease. She  found an all-natural method that claimed to eliminate all symptoms of allergy and provide relief in a safe, natural and very effective way. She was intrigued to learn and experience the method as she had also suffered with environmental intolerances since childhood. Once she received relief, she shifted the scope of her practice from nutrition to allergy symptom elimination.

Dana is an enthusiastic proponent of natural healthcare and is dedicated to helping those suffering with allergies and intolerances to live a better and more fulfilling life.
